I just couldn't go on with the story without showing you a picture of the huge beaver statue mentioned in the previous posting. This was in the town of Beaverlodge, British Columbia.
Having been to Alaska twice by air, we decided it was time for the ultimate adventure of driving the Alaska Highway. Our route took us through British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon. The return trip included traveling the Inside Passage on the Alaska Marine Highway. If you have always wanted to make this trip I hope our story will inspire you to stop dreaming, buy a copy of The Milepost, and start driving.
