Along the Campbell Highway where there had been a forest fire the previous year that burned over 100,000 acres.
Having been to Alaska twice by air, we decided it was time for the ultimate adventure of driving the Alaska Highway. Our route took us through British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon. The return trip included traveling the Inside Passage on the Alaska Marine Highway.
